  10. ∙  For convenience a Page-Up and Page-Down feature has been added to the
  11.    Time Capsule for easier movement among the list of savegames.

  13. ∙  Added an Undo option to the Hardware Purchasing Screen.  This will set
  14.    your hardware to the same state it was in immediately before entering
  15.    this location.  The keyboard command for this feature is the 'Z' key.

  20. ∙  Added code to allow for a minimized version of the game.  By deleting
  21.    the files SVISION.ABZ and SOUND.CAT the game can be reduced in size.
  22.    BARIS will now run without the multimedia missions and sound after these
  23.    files have been deleted.  This drops the overall size of the game to
  24.    around 6 Mb.  Once you delete these files you will need to reinstall
  25.    BARIS to restore the multimedia missions.

  27. ∙  Corrected problem with another News Event (#89).  This caused another
  28.    fade to black situation.

  33. Blue and Red text screen showing the version number is the first thing
  34. that shows when the game is run.
  35.  
  36. ∙  Finally full Gravis Ultrasound Support with the addition of newly
  37.    written drivers from Gravis and Forte.  Currently the proper drivers
  38.    are not included with this release, but when they are simply copy the
  39.    GF1MIDI.ADV and GF1DIGI.ADV into the GAMEDAT directory and then run
  40.    the SETUP program.  Select the Gravis Ultrasound for both the Music
  41.    and Sound devices.  SBOS cannot be loaded and the program ULTRAMID must
  42.    be run.  Use the -c option on ULTRAMID to speed up game play. 
  43.    Gravis/Forte have allowed us to include the v1.0 of the ULTRAMID files
  44.    so that you can get up and running.  Please read the documentation
  45.    provided with these files.

  47.    Once again you are required to run ULTRAMID before the GUS drivers will
  48.    work.

  50. ∙  Gameplay has been modified for Level One.  This effects any mission where
  51.    there is a Catastrophic Failure (kill people on a mission step).  The
  52.    safety factor of that program will no longer be dropped to it's initial
  53.    level, instead the safety factor will be reduced by 50%.  Also the
  54.    die rolling system was revised to be easier on this level.  None of
  55.    these changes effect the game play on either Level 2 or Level 3.  This
  56.    change does not effect the computer opponent.

  58. ∙  Updated the Help file to indicate the keyboard command for the Undo on
  59.    the Hardware Purchasing screen.

  61. ∙  Duration penalties were calculated double for each step.  Oops, well it's
  62.    fixed now and would contribute to more mission successes.

  65.    for various records.
